ResDelta · Independent measurements of the Turkish power grid
We measure the difference the average hides.
We turn public energy data into independent, hourly-resolution measurements with visible sources and limits. Every published number comes with its method, downloadable data and immutable release record.
What we do today
Grid carbon
2,24× hourly variation
We measure hourly carbon intensity, anchor it to Türkiye’s official annual factor and publish the complete downloadable history.
Grid Carbon Index →Wind imbalance
2,220 USD/MWh
We measure imbalance and KÜPST cost per unit of wind generation and publish the plant distribution anonymously.
Wind Imbalance Index →How we work
Visible sources
Calculations begin with public EPİAŞ data. Published datasets are downloadable and methodologies are versioned.
Visible limits
We disclose unmeasured assumptions, missing data, negative observations and known bias. We do not draw a trend where no history exists.
Immutable releases
Published numbers are not silently rewritten. Corrections are dated and the original release remains in the archive.
Measured and assumed stay separate
Every published figure is marked so readers can see which kind it is.
What comes next
Extend the monthly record
Publish both indices in the first business week of every month under stable definitions and an immutable archive.
Correct the carbon index’s daytime bias
The measurable unlicensed solar source has been found and its data published. The disclosed midday bias has not yet been corrected; the data will be integrated in the next carbon version.
Develop new grid measurements
Build decision-useful measurements that can be reproduced from public data and state their limits clearly.
Independence
ResDelta does not trade electricity, manage portfolios or sell power supply. It has no economic interest in indices being high or low.
Our aim is not to defend a result, but to publish measurements that a third party can reproduce from the same data.
