ResDelta Wind Imbalance Index

All wind plants in the EPİAŞ UEVM list are consolidated by UEVÇB. The index is the ratio of current settlement and KÜPST cost to total generation across 291 anonymous units during the last complete settlement month. The current window is August 2026 (full month); the current value is 2,220 USD/MWh.

The basket is frozen, reviewed annually and triggers a method-version increase when changed.

It is not a savings claim, forecast, model score or revenue promise. It does not disclose plant identities or trading positions.

The monthly series starts with August 2026 under method 1.3.0. The September 2026 issue used a different window and is not directly comparable.

10.236.860 USD total cost is divided by 4.611.614 MWh total generation, producing 2,220 USD/MWh.

The frozen basket covers all wind plants in the EPİAŞ UEVM plant list, consolidated by UEVÇB, and is reviewed annually. It represents 94.2% of system wind generation in the measurement month.

Coverage is below 100% because plant-level UEVM is published only for licensed generation facilities. The gap consists of generation without plant-level UEVM, non-standard records — temporary records and aggregator units — and plants without data in the measurement month.

UEVÇB identities remain private, and no trend is drawn across method versions.

1.0.0 (3 September 2026) — out-of-sample validation window, 15 May–31 July 2026.

1.3.0 (10 October 2026) — the window became the last complete settlement month; the basket became all wind plants in the EPİAŞ UEVM list, consolidated by UEVÇB. The money calculation and settlement formula did not change; the 1.0.0 issue remains unchanged in the archive and is not comparable with this one.
